Moni Bosch's Photorealistic Journey Above and Below Water
Moni Bosch, born in 1969, is emerging as a luminary in the world of art, with a rich tapestry of experiences that have shaped her into a multifaceted creative force. In 1995 she obtained a Master's degree in Art, History and Politics, which marked the beginning of a remarkable journey through the realms of culture, history and human expression.

 

Recognised as a set painter for theatre and film productions since 1999, Bosch honed her craft through an apprenticeship at the prestigious Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz in Berlin. Her artistic skills found a global stage during a captivating world tour from 2001 to 2006, which spanned Australia, Asia, North and South America. This odyssey not only enriched her creative palette, but also laid the foundation for a freelance career that would soon unfold.

 

In 2008, Bosch immersed herself in art education at the Museum of Modern Art in Freiburg, adding an academic dimension to her artistic journey. Her commitment to education culminated in a second state examination in 2010, leading to engagements at various schools where she shares her profound knowledge and passion for art.

 

The year 2022 finds Moni Bosch nestled in the artistic haven of the Algarve, Portugal, where she continues to weave her creative magic. With an impressive track record of 26 solo exhibitions, 21 group exhibitions and 22 projects and performance shows, Bosch's art transcends traditional boundaries and invites audiences into a realm where the imagination knows no bounds.

 

Her cinematic brilliance is evident in more than 35 mostly short films, one of which received recognition at Documenta XII, a testament to Bosch's ability to captivate and provoke thought through the moving image. Collaborations with luminaries such as Peter Stein, Filmstudios Babelsberg, Berlin, and Kevin Spacey underscore her place in the global artistic community.
